The excellent stillwater flies are not only Golden Nugget Lures with tail, but also Stillwater Attractors with golden bead and wing from marabou feather. This type of fly is especially effective at the beginning and end of the lake season, when the water is still cold in the early spring or late autumn months, the fish are not too active and thus do not react the faster and irregularly retrieved lures. At this time, attractor flies such as Viva and Cat's Whisker in black and white is a great choice. These patterns are good on intermediate or sinking lines slowly retrieved in figure to eight.
