Woolly Buggers are traditional American streamers designs that originally had to imitate large dark stonefly nymphs, but they proved to be well-known as river and lake streamers with general use. Worldwide successful trout streamers tied in all sizes, colors and designs. It can be said that any streamer fly, which has a marabou tail, a longer body regularly palmered with a rooster or a hen feather can be called a Woolly Bugger!
