Egg Crystal Hot Orange

Possibly one of the most effective egg flies of all time. Catches a whole host of species around the world, a favourite for Alaskan rivers during Salmon spawning time.

The distinctly colored orange Egg (artificial roe) with mother-of-pearl "flecks" is a very effective and simple pattern for fishing trout, grayling, steelhead, but in European conditions, of course, chub, carp and other fish. Nowadays, these patterns are enjoying great success both when nymphing on the river and when fishing on still waters with the static "BUNG" method.
