The balance of the weight and the main power in the butt section paired with a downward locking reel seat for this technique is paramount. An ergonomic fighting butt provides correct weight distribution and necessary control to land the larger fish.

Rods include a specific-size, cloth rod sock and an optic orange rod case for easy location on the river bank.
