Designed mainly for vertical fishing, but also suitable for casting. The mormyshka imitates a crustacean or a small fish that has captured prey and is trying to overpower it, triggering feeding aggression and a predatory strike.

Soft baits such as micro shads, nymphs, worms or their parts, synthetic fibers, foam pieces etc. can be rigged on the mormyshka, as well as dough baits or maggots.

The flattened bug-like shape ensures a slow fall and side-to-side movement.
