Wet Partridge Fluo Pink Ribbing B/L

The large wet fly in the March Brown style is an excellent pattern for year-round wet fishing for trout and chub when these fish are actively feeding in the water column, e.g. on dead insects (mayflies and caddisflies) carried by the water current.

The basis of this distinctive and relatively large wet fly is a natural hare dubbing body ribbed with a bold fluo pink thread and soft speckled hackles from partridge feather tied so that they pulsate nicely and lively in the water. A great fly for hungry river fish, but of course it can also be used as a great wet fly when fishing on still waters!
