CDC Dun Golden Olive B/L

A very delicate and inconspicuous fly, which can imitate small duns, emergers or adults of midges and other small insects. It is therefore excellent for fishing for grayling or cautious and shy trout, for example in the upper reaches of rivers or during early evening fishing on still waters, when even the most experienced individuals are attracted to insects on the surface!

The basis of this subtle fly is a thin golden olive body and a CDC wing tied in front. The pattern designed in this way sits beautifully in the water blank and the fish accept it with much more confidence than flies that sit directly on the surface.
