The basis of this simple fly is a natural grey body, a distinctive orange head and a thick wing made of CDC feathers, which keeps this pattern on the surface. This caddisfly is also excellent when fishing with the Dry-Dropper technique in combination with a smaller nymph, when the caddisfly serves as an unmistakable strike indicator.
