CDC Caddis Black & Grey B/L

A very versatile pattern of a large dry caddisfly, which is absolutely irresistible for trout, chub and even large grayling! A great floating and highly visible fly for fishing in the peak fishing season, especially in the summer months!

The basis of this fly is a grey body, a distinctive black hrorax and head and a thick wing made of CDC feathers, which keeps this pattern on the surface. This caddisfly is also excellent when fishing with the Dry-Dropper technique in combination with a smaller nymph, when the caddisfly serves as an unmistakable strike indicator.
