This fly rod was designed for French Nymphing technique with French leader. It has middle-to butt-action that is needed for French nymphing.
3-piece rod has usually better (smoother) action compared to 4-piece rod. However you have to count with larger tube that is not so convenient for frequent travelers.
Hanak provides a two-year warranty - to be implemented at point of sale - against any defects in material or construction. If the rod is broken through improper use or after the warranty period has expired, it can be repaired for a service fee of 39 EUR plus postage. All claims must be done through the rod seller. All Hanak Competition fly rods are delivered in protective packaging.
