Samuel Piekar is one of the leading Czech competitive fly anglers. At the 30th European Fly Fishing Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2026, he finished 2nd in the individual standings, competing against more than 100 anglers. The Czech national team, of which he was a member, also won the team title.
