🇬🇧 Hydrophobic Synthetic Indicator Yarn – White (with Vial)

TSIC Hydrophobic Synthetic Indicator Yarn – White is a high-performance material designed for building ultra-sensitive, high-floating strike indicators. Engineered specifically for fly anglers, it delivers outstanding buoyancy, durability, and ease of use on the water.

Each spool contains 24 feet of premium synthetic yarn, conveniently divided into three separate 8-foot strands. This smart layout makes indicator construction quick and efficient, allowing you to focus more on fishing and less on preparation.

Exceptional Buoyancy & Performance

The synthetic fibers feature a wiry, bristly texture that naturally forms crinkles when worked. These micro-crinkles trap air bubbles, significantly improving flotation and visibility even in challenging conditions.

Designed for the Knotless System

The yarn is custom-spun for perfect compatibility with the New Zealand Strike Indicator System:

• Three strands for Regular tubing

• Six strands for X-Large tubing

This versatility allows anglers to fine-tune indicator size to match water depth, current speed, and nymph weight.

Angler-Friendly Spool & Eco-Conscious Solution

The lightweight, crush-resistant spool fits perfectly into a vest, pocket, or pack. Included for free is the “Leave No Trace” vial with Velcro top, designed to:

• collect synthetic yarn trimmings responsibly

• double as an effective yarn brush for fluffing and preparing indicators

After testing more than 20 different brushes, Velcro proved to be the most effective solution for synthetic yarn preparation.
