General jig pattern that uses succesfull colour cobmination of black body and red tag. Excellent year-round pattern.
General jig pattern suitable for fishing fast flowing waters. Good choise when fishing either salmonids or white fish (chubs, dice or roach).
For this pattern I used the same colours as for the well known dry fly pattern - Iron Blue Dun. Effective all year-round.
Black is one of the magical colours for fish. As black colour is much better visible in coloured water than other natural colours (olive or brown) this pattern often makes difference when fishing coloured waters.
Inconspicious pattern for general usage. Can be used anywhere where natural patterns are preferred by fish.
As a good imitation of caddis larvae this pattern looks edible and will be accepted by most of the fish in the running waters. General pattern that will work all year-round.
Originally very inconspicuous pattern was improved by adding shiny back. This fly will work under most conditions.
Fantastic pattern that is espacially effective for grayling and rainbow trout. Try when fishing on frosty days!
