This fly is excellent for trout, asp and perch. It must be steered in such a way, that it jumps above the bottom in half a meter jumps, thus imitating an injured fish. This requires some training, but it pays to learn it – not only becasuse of this fly.

A universal jig throughout the season for trout and grayling. It serves also as a sinker-fly.

A simple fly meant for fishing in dephths. I do not paint the head, because after a few casts it is battered all the same. I use it when fishing both short and long nymph. I put it as the point fly (droppers with less weight above it), or as the upper dropper and then a less weighted fly below. This combination is more effective, but it often causes tangles and requires perfect casting and concentration. It is a true universal pattern for all kinds of fish.

Excellent throughout the season for trout and grayling. According to size it is also a very good sinker- fly, although I tie it only in sizes 8 for dephths and strong currents. As it is a fly for weighting, basically it is all the same, where we put it. I use it as a stretcher or first dropper.

The use is identical as with the dark pattern. On Sáva Bohiňka in Slovenia it was an invincible fly, literally fish-consuming, even when we had checked all the flies from our boxes. Both patterns ar excellent in small sizes for cautious fish, we have to fish for with long casts and small flies and only a small jig manages to dive quickly enough.

Excellent for trout throughout the season in all places. Unambiguously a universal jig, serving as a sinker-fly. Suitable also for retrieving together with a streamer.

An excellent jig for trout, pike and perch. It requires tugging in shallow stretches with grass banks. On the Nechranice dam it is excellent for perch and occasionally a pike, when the water level is high.

Fantastic pattern that is espacially effective for grayling and rainbow trout. Try when fishing on frosty days!

Originally very inconspicuous pattern was improved by adding shiny back. This fly will work under most conditions.

As a good imitation of caddis larvae this pattern looks edible and will be accepted by most of the fish in the running waters. General pattern that will work all year-round.
