If you're looking for your first rod primarily for dry fly and traditional wet fly fishing, we recommend the 9'0" AFTMA 3 model.
If you're after the most versatile option, the 9'6" AFTMA 3 is an excellent all-round choice.
If you want to get started with Euro/French nymphing, add one of the 10'0" rods to your setup. Choose AFTMA 3 if you'll mainly be targeting smaller fish, or AFTMA 4 if you need a rod better suited for larger, stronger fish and heavier rigs.
