The chenille is intended for making the bodies of nymphs - larvae of caddisflies and others, as well as dry caddisflies, cases, etc.

For working with chenille, it is important to first seal or glue the ends to prevent it from unraveling. We don't wind the chenille onto the hook, although this is also possible, but we tie the body off the hook, as is done, for example, with large mayflies. If we want to make the body of a dry caddisfly, we heat the chenille with a lighter; it will shrink to a smaller diameter and strengthen its structure.

The high effectiveness of the flies made from this material is due to the fact that the body is separate from the hook and can move, and especially due to the combination of materials from which it is made. In addition to the colored material, there are dark elements and also reflective materials, which create a nearly perfect imitation of a caddisfly case.
